This session is designed for the busy executive who needs to learn key elements of doing business with the Japanese in a short time.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Executives of Japanese or non-Japanese companies.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

JCO will contact the executive in advance to customize the session. We normally design the session around four areas:

  • Key concepts of Japanese business culture and their implications in your daily work. This includes meetings, decision-making, reporting and negotiation.
  • Communication : Here we discuss characteristics of Japanese communication, to make communication with Japanese or non-Japanese colleagues or partners more efficient.
  • Highlights of protocol and business etiquette : We review the aspects of protocol and etiquette of various situations in which you may find yourself during normal interactions with Japanese. We will teach you how to respond and basic dos and don’ts.
  • Questions and Answers : We allow time to go over specific questions and clarify any details.

Our experienced trainer will share anecdotes and illustrate the points discussed with examples from his or her own experience in Japan.
