In late 2012, Japan Consulting Office opened a new branch in Singapore, headed by locally-based Japanese expat Sunao Fujii. With more than 15 years of consulting and training experience, Mr. Fujii is familiar with the different working behaviors, management styles and leadership methodologies of Japanese and non-Japanese. Mr. Fujii’s hands-on method, with a particular focus on cultural diversity challenges, is a perfect match with JCO’s values of interactive, practical and relevant training seminars.
“I have every confidence that our new office in Singapore will be a great success precisely because Singapore is a meeting point for many cultures with a high awareness of the need to address those differences when doing business. Sunao Fujii is well-placed to apply JCO’s methods to increase the efficiency of companies working with multicultural teams in the broader South-East Asia region,” said JCO founder and managing director Olivier Van Beneden.
